Overview & Calendar

Continuing Education classes are designed both for amateurs interested in learning a new skill and for professionals who seek to strengthen their technical understanding. Small class sizes and fully equipped facilities make NBSS a great learning environment for students of all abilities.

CE classes are taught by accomplished professionals and master craftspeople, including many who are graduates of NBSS Full-Time programs. Lectures, demonstrations, and bench exercises are combined in class to provide students with a range of information and practical experience.

COVID-19 Update

In order to follow state guidelines and safely physically distance students in our nine accredited full-time programs, in-person Continuing Education classes are suspended until further notice. Once we are able to resume in-person classes, they will be posted on this page.

NBSS is working on a plan to introduce a permanent online component of our Continuing Education department. Until then, we will offer online classes occasionally. For the most up-to-date information, please sign up for our mailing list and select Continuing Education Classes from the checklist.

We thank you for your patience and support as we navigate the year ahead.
