Kick, Turn, Shine

Turning with Beth Ireland

NBSS is partnering with the Fuller Craft Museum and the Society of Arts + Crafts to present an innovative series of events this spring. Dive in to the joy of making by learning to turn on the lathe, celebrating all that glitters, or up-cycling your shoes.We'll be offering kid and adult wood turning classes at NBSS with guest instructor and noted wood turner Beth Ireland.

Join us a presentation, "Turning Around America," with Beth on Thursday, March 12, 2020 and two Learn to Turn classes for kids and adults on Saturday, March 14, 2020.

Birdhouses: Make, Take, Donate

Build a Birdhouse

This spring, NBSS is offering birdhouse making classes for kids and adults to support a good cause. Participants make one to take home, and another to donate to our partner organization, South Sudanese Enrichment for Families (SSEF), for their May gala.

We're offering two birdhouse building classes on Saturday, March 28, 2020 for adults and kids 11 years or older.
