Formation Exhibit Reception

Join us to celebrate this special traveling exhibition of fine bindings, curated and produced by the Guild of Book Workers. View the stunning books on display and hear from exhibit curator Jackie Scott BB '15, exhibitor Graham Patten (whose book is pictured here), and NBSS Bookbinding Department Head Jeff Altepeter BB '99.

If you're curious about attending our Full-Time Bookbinding program, our Admissions staff will be on hand to answer any questions.

Free and open to the public.

Work in this juried show explores the theme of formation: of personal narratives and histories, biology, craftsmanship, forming ideas, geographies, and many more interpretations. Featured among the 51 books are a number created by NBSS Bookbinding alumni, faculty members, and colleagues.

The exhibit is free and open to the public in our Gallery/Store weekdays 9:00 am-4:00 pm, Saturdays 10:00 am-2:00 pm, and by appointment.

View full exhibit details on the Guild of Book Workers website.
