Before coming to North Bennet Street School, I served in the United States Marine Corps where I worked in intelligence. When I left the service I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do but I knew that I cared about history, the built environment, and having an active lifestyle.

I decided to pursue a degree in historic preservation and received my BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

I chose NBSS because I wanted a program that would focus on the physical practice of historic preservation. I felt the NBSS Preservation Carpentry program would compliment my undergraduate studies. The variety of projects and sites as well as the range of materials used really appealed to me.

When I wasn't in school I enjoyed going to the pub with my friends, mountain biking, playing soccer, and just being outside in general.
