Visitors to the gallery/store see the diversity of skills and the high-quality of NBSS student, faculty and alumni projects and learn about the history, materials, and hand processes that inspired them. The gallery/store typically includes pieces representative of the bookbinding, cabinet and furniture making, jewelry making and repair, piano technology and violin making and repair programs.

In addition to displaying and selling artisan pieces, the gallery/store sells specialized hand tools, including Starrett measuring tools, Clifton planes, Hock knives and Sorby chisels. An extensive selection of blank journals, marbled paper and NBSS logo items are also available for purchase.
