BUILDING UPDATE: Design and construction on North Street
Walls are going up, mechanical systems are being installed and structural elements for the addition are being added. The site is busy with the big push to ensure that all the work will be done for the move in August !

Jim Croft visits bookbinding department
Bookbinding students made medieval bindings under the direction of bookbinder Jim Croft. They began with wood boards which they cut and shaped by hand. The finished bindings also included hand-made brass clasps.

Preservation Carpentry students at work
First year preservation carpentry students are shown here documenting the 1725 David Tilden House in Canton MA. Students use the information gathered in the field to make measured drawings. They also finished restoring 26 sashes from the First Parish Church in Dorchester and took a road trip to Marblehead MA to visit with preservation carpenter David Ottinger.
