Registration closes 7 days prior to the start of class or once class is full.
Payment is due at time of registration. Space will not be held until full payment has been received. If you wish to pay by check, or with another source of funding such as the VA or Americorps, please contact the Continuing Education
10% discount for individuals who register at least 30 days before the class start date.
Students and alumni of full-time programs receive a 15% discount. Current full-time students can receive a 50% discount on standby. Please contact the Continuing Education
office for details.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 14 days prior to the start of the course or workshop will be refunded less a $50.00 administration fee. Refunds are not possible for cancellations or transfers received within 14 days of the course or workshop start date.
If a workshop is cancelled by NBSS, students are notified at least 5 days prior to the start of the class and a full refund is issued.
TOOLS AND SUPPLIES
Individuals must provide their own hand tools. A tool list will be sent at least 14 days prior to the class start date. NBSS provides materials and shop supplies, except where noted. Most tools can be purchased from the school store (617-227-0155x140 or email@example.com
THREE MONTH FURNITURE MAKING
Individuals pay a deposit to hold a space. The balance is due 30 days prior to the class start date. Half of the deposit is refunded if notification is given 30 days prior to the start of the course. No refund will be made for later cancellations. If NBSS cancels, full refunds are made.
WEATHER DELAY OR CANCELLATION
Weather occasionally requires NBSS to delay or cancel a course or workshop. To hear the most up-to-date information, call 617-227-0155 and press 300 after the greeting. Messages about cancellation or delays are recorded by 6:00 am the morning of the course or workshop. Classes missed because of weather delays will be made up as scheduling permits.
