During this transition year to our new location on North Street, North Bennet Street School has programs in four locations.

VISITING THE NORTH END

The main campus is located in the historic North End neighborhood of Boston at 39 North Bennet Street. Our new location in the North End is 152-174 North Street, with plans to relocate all programs by September 2013. Please visit this link to learn more about the new building: Under One Roof

Within the North End, the streets are narrow and parking is difficult. The good news is that the neighborhood is very walkable, there are countless restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques to visit and people are friendly. We recommend taking public transportation or parking in the Parcel 7 parking garage and walking to the school.

If your visit includes an overnight stay, here is  a list of local accommodations although we encourage you to look for special deals online as many downtown Boston hotels offer deals through online travel sites.

VALIDATED PARKINg IN the north end

There is validated parking for visitors to North Bennet Street School at the Parcel 7 parking garage located at 136 Blackstone Street on the corner of New Sudbury and Congress Streets. The entrance is on New Sudbury, next to the Orange Line MBTA Subway entrance. The phone number for the parking garage is 617-973-6954. Validated parking tickets are good for $1 for up to 2 hours of parking, and $3 for up to 3 hours of parking. If you park for longer than 3 hours, the cost is $13 an hour with no validation discount. Validation occurs at the NBSS front desk. Note: Parcel 7 parking garage is officially located at 136 Blackstone Street on the corner of New Sudbury and Congress Streets, but Google Maps (not Mapquest) and most GPS systems prefer 101 New Sudbury Street as the garage address.

Visiting the Arlington facility

The Carpentry and Preservation Carpentry programs are located in the Arlington facility at 60 Lowell Street in Arlington, Massachusetts. Visitors may park in the lot adjacent to the school. Ample street parking is also available.

Visiting Locksmithing

The locksmithing program is located in a light-filled space with views of Boston harbor. The address is Suite 703, 12 Channel Street, Boston. The closest public transportation stop is the 306 Northern Ave stop on the silver line. There are several pay lots for parking and some street parking.
